WHO AND HOW WE HAVE HELPED!!!

With help from our generous supporters, Wingman Cancer Foundation has assisted many families in the war against cancer. Here is a list of those great examples:

 

Son of Air Guardsman – leukemia: A fundraiser was held to raise gas money for  commuting to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans from Hammond. WCF matched dollar to dollar, with a total of $2500 donated to the family. WCF also covered $400 of medical bills.

 

Daughter of Air Guardsman – leukemia: WCF donated a $500 gas card for commuting to Children’s Hospital.

 

Air Guardsman – cutaneous marginal zone lymphoma: WCF paid $4326 for medical bills and chemo treatments.

 

Spouse of Air Guardsman – breast cancer: WCF paid $2000 for chemo treatments

 

Spouse of Army Guardsman – breast cancer: WCF paid $300 for hotel bills while wife received treatment.

 

Daughter of Army Guardsman – leukemia: WCF provided emotional and medical support during diagnosis and treatment.

 

Son of Army Guardsman – Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: WCF paid $600 for medical bills.

 

Brother of Air Guardsman – colon cancer: WCF donated a $500 gas card for commuting to MD Anderson. WCF also paid $4500 towards medical bills.

 

Spouse of Army Guardsman – Stage 4 Metastatic Non-small Cell Carcinoma of the Lung Cancer: WCF donated gas cards in the amount of $500 to help while commuting to MD Anderson for doctor visits. WCF also paid for hotel room while at MD Anderson in the amount of  $442.

 

Son of Air Guardsman - lung cancer: WCF donated a $200 gas card for commuting to Doctors Office.

 

Son of Army Guardsman - leukemia: WCF donated a $500 gas card for commuting to Doctors Office.

 

Spouse of Air Guardsman - breast cancer: WCF donated a $500 gas card and a $2000 travel card for commuting to Cancer Center.

Army Guardsman - leukemia: WCF donated $400 in gas cards for commuting to Chemo treatments and $400 gift card for groceries.

Air Guardsman - squamous cell carcinoma: WCF donated $400 in groceries and medical supplies. A fundraiser was held to raise money for medical expenses and $2000 was donated.

 

Spouse of Air Guardsman – breast cancer: WCF donated a pharmacy gift card to help pay for prescriptions and wig in the amount of $822

 

Air Guardsman -  Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: WCF donated a pharmacy card in the amount of $500 to help pay for medical expenses.

Air Guardsman Family Member - Colon cancer: WCF paid $940 towards medical bills for cancer treatment.

Air Guardsman - Rare skin cancer: WCF donated $2000 towards medical expenses.

Spouse of Air Guardsman - Breast cancer: WCF covered the cost of wig in the amount of $558 during chemo treatments.

Spouse of Air Guardsman - Pancreatic Cancer: WCF donated $300 in gas cards for commuting to MD Anderson and $220 in pharmacy cards.

Son of Army Guardsman - leukemia: WCF donated a $300 in gas cards for commuting to MD Anderson and $200 in pharmacy cards.

Since 2010, WCF has donated over $28,808 to Louisiana National Guard members and their families in the fight against Cancer!!!
